SHORT PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The WFS Pro V3 introduces breakthrough ALUULA® - Polyfusion® technology, redefining lightweight freeride and wave performance with exceptional stiffness, responsiveness and control — made for ambitious riders ready to take their performance to the next level.
PRODUCT TEXT
Engineered for high-end performance, the WFS Pro V3 sets new standards in construction and material innovation. Its advanced Polyfusion® Technology is the world’s first process to structurally weld ALUULA® panels together using high temperature and pressure — without stitching or additional adhesive. The result is an exceptionally stiff and lightweight inflatable airframe with highly efficient, direct load transfer throughout the entire wing.
Direct power and precise handling, come naturally thanks to its refined shape and incorporated new technologies. The Pro version delivers immediate feedback and a direct response, inspiring confidence at speed while allowing you to carve harder, pump more efficiently and maintain full control through every manoeuvre.
Born from groundbreaking technology, the WFS Pro V3 features a revolutionary Polyfusion®-welded ALUULA® frame. By eliminating traditional stitched seams and reinforcement layers, this innovative construction creates a lighter, stronger and more aerodynamically efficient structure. The welded seams are over 60% stronger and stretch less than half as much as conventional construction, helping the wing maintain its shape under load for maximum efficiency, effortless drift and ultimate control.
ALUULA® allows for a cleaner, thinner leading-edge profile and strut design, reducing drag and improving airflow. The homogeneous bonded airframe structure delivers exceptional stiffness, direct response and more even load distribution. Combined with our Exoskeleton-reinforced centre structure, optimised canopy tension and deeper profile design, the result is outstanding profile stability and consistent responsiveness, session after session.
Light is right. The WFS Pro V3 is engineered for featherlight aerodynamics. The full-carbon CS Wing Boom keeps weight to a minimum while its refined hand positioning ensures the perfect angle of attack. An ergonomic oval shape and tuned grip provide lasting comfort with precise, fatigue-free control.
The WFS Pro V3 is built for riders who demand the highest level of performance and innovation. Highly versatile, it is designed for intermediate to advanced wing foilers looking for a direct, responsive wing that excels across all conditions in freeride, freestyle and wave riding.
KEY CHANGES FOR V3
- New ALUULA material made for welded no-sew construction technique
- The new Polyfusion welding technique decreases the weight of the overall frame construction, is stiffer and has significantly less elongation
- Seams are over 60% stronger and elongate less than 50%
- Two larger window panels next to the strut for optimum visibility
- Deeper central section with more canopy area for better free-fly balance and increased wind range.
- New panel layout designed to optimise canopy tension for stable, predictable handling under load.
- Updated Teijin X6 material in key stress zones for reduced elongation and a cleaner profile
- New backpack design using upgraded materials for improved durability
- New ergonomic-shaped CS Wing Bar for optimum grip and less fatigue
- New triple closing seam for strength and durability
- T-centre joint with exoskeleton reinforcement
Key advantages of the new Polyfusion welded ALUULA construction
Stronger seam construction: Welded seams are reported to be over 60% stronger than traditional stitched seams.
Lower stretch/elongation: Seams stretch less than half as much, helping the kite and wing maintain their designed shape under load.
More efficient load transfer: Heat-and-pressure fusion creates a continuous bonded surface, allowing loads to move more evenly through the leading edge.
Fewer stress concentrations: No needle holes and no extra reinforcement materials in the seam, reducing localised stress points and potential failure zones.
Cleaner aerodynamic profile: The welded leading edge is smoother and experiences less "ballooning" or bulging under pressure, improving airflow and efficiency.
Lighter overall structure: Eliminating additional seam reinforcements saves weight.
Smaller and cleaner leading edge: Aluula with Polyfusion offers a cleaner and reduced leading-edge diameter, lowering drag and improving airflow.
Better upwind performance: Reduced drag and improved aerodynamics help the wing track upwind more effectively.
More direct and responsive handling: The combination of low weight, controlled stiffness, and reduced deformation produces quicker steering response while remaining smooth and predictable.
Potentially better durability: Reduced elongation and fewer stress hotspots mean less fatigue in the leading edge over time.
